Mary me Erin with mustard and mayo. So tasty, so exhilarating, so satisfying. Takes about 2 hours to get through it. Why, I don't need another snack for at least 3 hours....

I like Bobby Flay's specialty

Spread the bread on one side with butter, Cinnamon, sugar then grill
Spread Nutella, sliced bananas, & chopped hazelnuts on the untoasted side.

A great sandwich!

DAMN YOU ALL!!!!!! Now I'm hungry...sigh... *grin*

My sandwiches tend to get a little strange, but my girlfriend LOVES them (she's a model, but she still eats as much as me and all loves all the crazy things I think up!)

This is, by far, our favourite! It's one of my "double-deckers":

White or whole wheat bread
LOTS of mayo
Onion
Blue Cheese
Any kind of luncheon meat
Dijon mustard
One slice of same bread as above (hence, the "double-decker"
Medium or Hot salsa
Any kind of luncheon meat
More onion
A couple slices of cheddar cheese
MORE MAYO!!!
The final slice of bread

...ahhh, perfection!

1 large crusted sourdough loaf
2 lb rib-eye steak
2 cups of mixed mushrooms
4 cloves of garlic
1 large onion
1/2 cup blue cheese
1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
salt
pepper
2 tbs capers
1 large pan
tinfoil
1 large heavy flat rock larger then the loaf of bread and about 10lbs.

Heat oven to 350 degrees with the large rock inside of it.

Salt and pepper the steak, then grill to rare. Sauté the onions, mushrooms and garlic in a pan.
Cut the cap off of the loaf about two inches down revealing the soft of the bread. Scoop all of the soft bread out will you have a large hollow loaf with only some of the soft and all of the crust left.

Insert the steak, sautéed veggies, juices, cheeses, and capers then put the loaf cap back on tight. Wrap the whole thing up tight in a roll in tinfoil.

Put the wrapped sammich on a pan, the compress it with the heavy flat rock. Put it in the oven for an hour.

Enjoy!!
