Also worth trying:

Mix 1 lb ground chuck with 1 TSP onion powder, garlic powder, cracked black pepper, kosher salt and 1 TBS of hot sauce. Split into two 1/2 lb patties. Cover bottom patty with blue cheese and put top patty on. Crimp edges tight. Grill till medium rare.

Large crusty bun
mayo (to keep bun from getting soggy)
your cheese filled patty
more blue cheese
sliced red onion
sliced pickle
slided tomato
fresh lettuce
spicy mustard
top with bun

ENJOY!!!

Make sure that you get a BIG bun, cause 1 lb of meat cooks up BIG!. When you grill it, dont fuck with it much, sear both sides then put it off the heat to bake it. Also make a impression in the middle of the buger cause it will swell as it cooks, and make sure that you pinch the burger patties together real well so that don't come apart when you flip it. DOn't worry too much if some blue cheese runs out.

This burger should take you 4 beers to cook if you sear it on high for 3 mintes each side and then move it off the heat to bake up so that it doens't burn.

Bottom half of bread
Lots of mayo
1/4 lb of rosemary ham
1/4 lb of Capicola
1/4 lb of Salami, Genoa
1/4 lb of prosciutto
1/4 lb of spicey olive loaf
1/4 lb of rare roast beef
1/4 lb of Soppressata
1/4 lb of Salsalito Roasted Breast of Turkey
1/4 lb of jalapino cheese
1/4 lb of laced swiss
1/4 lb of horseradish provalone
2 tomatoes slices thin and layered
2 pickles sliced thin and layered
1 thinly sliced red onion layered
top with mixed greens, endives, romain and minced garlic
1/4 tsp of cracked black pepper
lots of dark mustard
slap on the top of the loaf of sourdough

Now take the whole huge sandwhich and move it on top of a clear plastic wrap. Wrap it up REAL tight and refridgerate for an hour or so to firm up. Now go in, cut that HUGE mother fucker in half and eat like you've never eaten before. This goes good with a 6 pack of pilsner or some other refreshing , not too heavy beer.

ENJOY!!!

I seriously think this wins hands down, granted that is a hell of an expensive sandwich,

It does cost about $30 or so to make, but with a 18 long 6 inch wide loaf of sourdough, you can cut it into 4's and it's still a big meal. Great sandwhich for a poker game or a rainey day of grazing while watching movies.

Thick sliced rye bread
Tomato (3-4 semi thick slices)
Lettuce (romaine works best, but you can use your favorite)
Bacon, cooked crispy (at least a 1/2 pound, but more can be used)
Cheese (Swiss works best but again feel free to use your favorite)
Fried egg, cooked over easy (you can use one or two defending on the size of the bread you used)
Mayo (generous amount)
Thick sliced rye bread
