tattoos

i havent seen a thread on here about tattoos (but im sure there was one at some point, besides the one with just weirdly stupid tattoos). post pictures (of your own or others), how you feel about tattoos, your experiences, or what ever you want. hopefully this will be fun. i attached a photo that my tattoo guy did that i think is rad. i still have a few more sessions until ill post the tattoo im getting is done.

Here is my tatoo I got like 4 years ago ( at least). I never got it filled cause I havent found a person I can trust to do what I want with it. I want it either filled to look like it is made out of green marble, or filled with flames that seem to have depth to them. (usualy i just see people who can do realy cool 2 dimensional flame, but nothing that looks like it has any substance to it.)

Anyways, here it is.

I also want to get some Marvel Super Heroes Tattooed on my arm.

I think either Wolverine and spiderman, or Wolverine and Phoenix

I've got three so far but I don't have any pictures of them yet but here is a tattoo I put on my cousin. It's not my design but I think it came out pretty good especially since I haven't been doing it very long. It was my third or forth tattoo I had applied so don't be too harsh

haha. thats pretty sweet. it is really hard to find a good artist, especially one that isnt booked for months. a sleeve of marvel super heros on one arms, and villians on the other would be awesome.

@eric haha, by the one with just weirdly stupid tattoos, i was referring to your thread. i was just talking more along the lines of people here with tattoos, not that super awesome looking guy, mr cool as ice.

i got one on my right arm..
its an old style cross with my wifes initial at the top and my sons initial on the left tip..
i will put my daughters initial on the other tip..

its shadowed and got some texture added and the text "Only God Can Judge Me"

i dont plan on getting it coloured in, cause i like the texture and shadowing..
but i do want to get a few more done sometime

I wanna get a tattoo to symbolize my family. I am the oldest of 10 kids and I wanted to do something with that. Lets just hope they are done having/adopting kids

nice dude, what does the bone represent?

I didnt get inked until my mid fifties.A tattoo to me represents alot of who you are. I certainly had plenty of opportunities what with 6 years in the Marines and 2 tours in Nam. Im glad i didnt wind up with the lil devil pitchfork and caption like born to raise hell or gorn to lose. I esigned my own tattoos and they are taken from my Cherokee heritage.In the past eastern indians were heavily tattooed.My first tat is of kanenesgi amai yehi, the water spider that brought fire to the people and was my spirit guide during the war. My second represents a buzzard portrayed as the Thunerbird which signifies what I encountered on my first vision quest in Black Hills. These two have eep spiritual meaning to me. I will try to get some pics taken tp post
