keyserSone...its impossible to have negative IQ...unless you are a donkey or something...the test was created on a bell curve scale where 100 is the mean. most people fall within the first quartile of this...that was how the test was set up. If someone is below 70 IQ points, then they are deemed mentally retarded. However, if the test is based on the bell curve idea (and not the thing when your grade goes up by 3-15% cause everyone else in the class is a fucking muppet) then there is a slight possibility that there would be a negative number to it. This is assuming that the curve is set up in a way whereby there is no upper or lower limit. This would explain people like stephen hawking have a 291 IQ, something far off the scale by all rights. but this is all hypothetical...i still believe that there is no way a human could register a negative IQ. and if you think about it...if you are below 50 points in IQ...you may have trouble moving on your own volition you're so stupid. anyways, i think that is it
