Stuck On An Island!

Okay folks, here's the scenario.



Let's say you're getting stuck by some really aweful bad luck on an island, due to a sinking ship, crashed plane or an angry ex wife. You're all by yourself, no dangerous animals, but you do have all the equipment you would need to survive if you're handy enough.



Fortunately, God, Allah, Yaveh or Luke Skywalker (whatever religion you're into) decide to grant you 5 (read here FIVE) objets or things that would make your stay less miserable. What would you pick?



Here's the rules:
1-Nothing that could help you escape
2-Nothing that would let you call friends and family
3-No blow up dolls or sex toys
4-No other human being
5-Honda ain't available
6-No electronic gadgets(and if you really insist on those ones, they come without batteries!Got it?)

1-The complete Isaac Asimov Collection in one book (also known as the Sci-Fi Bible)
2-A puppy a could raise so I wont be alone
3-A warm blanket
4-A mattress
5-A lightsaber (better work on my jedi skills since I got all the time I need!)

I'm guessing you mean like, basic objects...nothing like, giant mirror to signal for help or anything.

1-a crate of matches.

2-a giant notebook and pen..for writing a journal.

3-fishing kit.

4-a large iron bowl

5-a gun, depending if its a large island and I could hunt...if not, a large knife.

So, my basic survival-ness set would be:
1- Bow (can be used in the ocean, and in the jungle for hunting or fishing)
2- As many arrows, and of as many different head varieties as fits within one selection.
3- Fixed-blade knife.
4- As much 7-strand parachute cord as fits within one selection.
5- Magnifying glass (to set fires, since it won't run out or get ruined by rain)

My fits within this thread set (5 objects):
1- A cot to sleep on. Leaves, rocks, and sand would suck after awhile.
2- A fixed-blade knife. Always need a good knife.
3- A drysuit. Might spend a lot of time getting wet, with the ocean and storms and such business.
4- The Bible (one with the associated books and such included. Like I think most have.) Might make for a neat read? Also, probably pretty long.
5- The Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Pretty long, and I have one that has all three books in one.

So, that's my 5 item (and only 5 items) list.

1. A collection of all the religious literature. You can't have too much toilet paper, eh?

2. A sling - slings are badass, you can even slay giants and such with them.

3. One of those Rambo knives that come complete with medical supplies, fishing gear, kitchen utensils, magnifying glass and compass.

4. A comfy recliner-rocker

5. For my pet/companion, I would like a sheep.

This has had me thinking.

1. Clothes including shoes dont wanna step on any deadly sea anemonemoneenones
2. puppy or pig for companionship, pigs are more intelligent and better food.
3. a mosquito net for insects and fishing
4. medical kit
5. axe for cutting wood.

I have all of the equipment I need to survive SO.....

1. A library full of books on all subjects.

2. A full pharmacy of meds.

3. A herd of sheep ( food, clothing, variety )

4. A spinning wheel ( see above )

5. A ton of various seeds to grow.

And with that my friends I could live like a King.

I know I should have asked for a Barn full of sheep.

2. a long piece of steel- for fire starting, beating things, and whatever i needed it for.
3. box of pencils and notebooks for my writng/drawing obsession
4. Machete
5. a towel bag- made out of a large, large towel and a lot of paracord.

2. Ice skate blade
3. Unopened FedEx package
4. Pocket watch
5. A large sheet of plastic from a portable toilet
