Star Trek New Voyages

I have noticed that on WBW there are some people who do like Star Trek.
I have been a Star trek fan, from the beginning, ever since the pilot, with Captain Christopher Pike in command of the starship Enterprise NCC1701.

When the series really started the captains chair was taken by Captain James T. Kirk. And a lot of people loved to follow the advantures of the crew of the Enterprise.

Star Trek was later followed by The Next Generation (TNG), Deep Space 9 (DS9) and Voyager (VOY).
These spin-offs were all loved by it's fans at home.

When they stopped, it was said that a new serie would be made, about the time before captain Kirk and his crew.
This was the series with captain Jonathan Archer in command of Enterprise NX-01, of which we all know, has stopped way to soon.

It's is now known that after the last episode of Enterprise, any other Star Trek related series will not be on tv for the next coming years.


But this didn't stop some young enterprising men.
They made their own Star Trek and started of with what we now know as Star Trek - The Original Series (TOS).

I have already started downloading the 2nd episode available. The pilot will be available for download in January 2006.
I just need to download the 5th part of the episode and the Episode Commentary.

I have already watched the 2 trailers available and must say, that these fans did a great job.

Looks cool dude! I'll have to check it a little more closely tomorrow.

I was still looking at this website and also the "links" which are available.

I never knew that there where so many fans making Star Trek episodes themselves.

I like it.

I didn't know that either. Too bad that the first episode is down for so long though.

Yeah, but I hope that they will continue making other episodes and that it will be seen by the big companies.
This might result in a more profesional aproach of it.

Yeah, I'd like to see more new Star Trek series. I'm surprised if they don't see enough profit in it with toughts of all the fans that are out there.

When they said it was going to stop, their mailserver went down, due to all the protest emails, but still they stopped with it.

I also mailed them, that if the present actors were asking to much money, give them the boot and hire me.
But they didn't reply to that email, yet.

Excellent, ill be looking at this later on

Ha ha ha! They could hire us if they wanted. I could do it pretty cheap.

I guess we can have enough people to make not only Star Trek (TOS), but also The Next generation (TNG), Deep Space 9 (DS9) and Voyager (VOY). (From now on, I will only use the abreviations.)

And if they pay me just a little bit more than what I get payed by my boss, I will become an actor tomorrow.
Travelling, hotel and food will also have to be paid by them, btw.

That means that they will have actors for a very low price, but very enthousiastic with their work.

Alright now people, I have finally downloaded all the files for the episode which is available.
For those who have a rapidhare account, go to mirror 4 of the download section, on the left of the mainscreen of the above mentioned webside and download like a madman.

The other people can best use the 1st mirror, which is on the server of the host of this website.

Tomorrow I will look at the episode and I will give it a go, at make the (totally 6) files into 1 big movie.
I have done it in the past, but I have to think a little bit, how I did it.

My thought exactly. And I think I'd do good as something like that holo-doc in VOY.

And if they make a movie with all the features of TNG, DS9 and VOY together, it would be a lot of action and great fun to do.
As long as I get to command the Defiant, I'm cool.

Ha ha! It's cool. You came up with it so that's the least they could do.

Actually the makers of Star Trek came up with the idea, but they are not going to do it, the way it looks right now.


But as soon as I hear someone is going to do this, know then that I want to be in it too.

I think more people would want to be there.

There are so many actors that can't act, so who cares.
