"There are those who believe... that life here... began out there. Far across the universe. With tribes of humans... who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians... or the Toltecs... or the Mayans... that they may have been the architects of the Great Pyramids... or the lost civilizations of Lemuria... or Atlantis... Some believe that there may yet be brothers of man... who even now fight to survive... somewhere beyond the heavens."

original ruled...new one sucks

I seem to remember throughout my childhood right up to when we got driver's licenses, we always had a blast vigorously running all over town on our bikes. Getting together and riding was an activity in itself, one we did constantly, we didn't even need a destination. Kids back then were in such great shape probably because we didn't have video games at all to play, sitting around getting fat. Hell you couldn't KEEP us inside most days. I remember as long as there was no ice on the streets, we were going to ride. Most of us had middle-of-the-road single speed BMX bikes with some padding added to the cross and handle bars. No helmets or gloves of course since we were invincible.

my brother also has one of those monster buddies or whatever - it was purple, looked like a pig, and had a nose ring. i can't remember the name . . . they were similar in size to wrestlin' buddies (as displayed earlier), but more "realistic".

I shit you not, I still have my nintendo and even to this day, in fact just yesterday I was playing zelda, I still play contra and all the old faves...

As for cartoons, I watched all the same as you, but I watched a little cult cartoon that not many remember... M.A.S.K. (mobile armored strike komand) but that was a long time ago

I remember being around 10 or 11 and an older cousin of mine made me listen to this evil music that just came out and I was never the same.

this fella owns that fat plumber mario!

when I was a kid I visited my littlecousins in Canada
those bastards had Sega megadrive and I got instantly hooked on Sonic the hedgehog.

next christmas my dream came true - santa gave me Sega's console bundled with Sonic the hedgehog 2.

I can still remember the hours of sitting in front of a TV set trying to complete this game,
eyes bugging out from head at the lack of natural light. Ah, happy memories.

One of my happiest day was playing Zelda, my uncle was of course a much better player I was only 8 for fuck sake but one day on my own I found the Red Candle on the seven level, best day EVER

oh yeah... G.I. JOE rocked. but i mean the 12" figures... not the little ones. many lives were lost while playing with the Joe's. Damn those were the days. Luckily I still have some of them and don't plan on getting rid of them anytime soon. I couldn't wait to get some money for my birthday, and going out to get the new one with life like hair.
