I'm a pic mod on an adult oriented site. I really like the cars by the way. The pay isn't all that great, but the perks make up for it. And I get to work from home, or anywhere that has an internet connection. I also get to set my own hours. Pretty kick ass if you ask me.

If it weren't for the cars, I'd be much more productive at the whole pic modding gig

I'm a firefighter/EMT. Love my job because I get to help people in their time of need and hopefully make a difference in their life. I am the calm in their storm. Hate my job cause the hours are long, the stress is way high, I have to watch people die of all ages and sometimes it's people I know. But, I did get the rare opertunity to deliver a baby in the field with my brother as my partner that day. All in all, I wouldn't trade my job for anything in the world.

Yeah I get an office that I don't have to go to if I don't want to or leave whenever I want to go look at stuff, half the time I could be taking a nap in my truck on the side of the road and still be getting paid for sleeping

I work as an IT manager for a smallish company.
Used to enjoy it, cos theres not actually much to do, but now im just bored out of my mind.
Im only really here to support employees, if whos IQ was any lower would need watering.
This years hi-lights so far
Being called by a consultant because his Word screen kept scrolling off the top of the page, it was because he had a book resting on the keyboard which was constantly pressing the return button.
And an accounts manager who called me because his monitor was broken, it had been turned off.
I really wish shotguns were legal her.

I give women what they want and they pay me well, it keeps me up at all hours of the day or night. It is a tough job but I hope to retire in another 40-50 years??

I watch TV and draw stupid shit all day long. That's my fucking job!
Oh, I'm a cartoonist. I also do some freelance commercial art jobs (when they really need something stupid to sell something), and I'm also in the fine art racket.
So after my kid is off to school I drink coffee and soda-pop all day, listen to music, watch the TV and do some internets stuff, all while "working."
Then the kid comes home and the real work starts.

Me, I'm a production artist for a small prepress company. Yeah, sounds exciting, I know, but seriously it's a great job in a great work environment. Pay could be bit better (don't they all?) but since it's the kind of job and place I'm more than willing to retire from when I become an old fart, I'm not going to complain. You might have seen some of my handiwork in the supermarket on those milk cartons. I didn't design them, but I had to prep the artwork for printing. Use trusty 'ol Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and I like to think I'm damn good at what I do.

I used to be a web developer before deciding to go back to school for nursing. Anyone who thinks male nursing is for sissies is clueless
1. I'm happier at this job than anything I've ever done
2. Make great money and have the best job security around (knock on wood)
3. Am outnumbered at least 4:1 by women, the majority of whom are intelligent
4. Have infinite possibilities for advancement through training and/or education
I've been an RN for about 2 years and I'm working toward becoming a nurse anesthetist which is similar to an anesthesiologist except it's a master's in nursing. They start out anywhere from $150-$200 per year after a 2.5 year master's program. Even if you don't decide to become an advanced-practice nurse, a regular floor nurse gets about a $1.50/hr raise each year + a cost of living raise. Before you judge that old crotchety nurse at the hospital, consider the fact that they probably make about $45-50/hr because they've been doing it for 20 years.
I've always had decent luck when it comes to relationships, but being a male nurse is like shooting fish in a barrel. I'm dating a great girl right now (who I met at work) and continue to be hit on by girls I would have considered to be WAY out of my league prior to changing careers.
I just took a job on a new floor and have been looking back on the last two years. I realized that I absolutely LOVE my job... and I always hated visiting people in the hospital prior to nursing school (everyone was shocked when I told them what I was going back to school for). This is by far the best job I've ever had. I had no idea it could be so rewarding when I first considered nursing as a career, but it's amazing how good it feels to know you're making a positive difference in someone's life.
Anyway, I can't say enough good things about nursing and I always try to sell my profession to anyone thinking of going back to school
