......and me found a lizard who was used as a toy by the house cat, seems hibernation is over. i hope people who bring winter-ish chills mess only with the nails of cute animals : )

Call animal control, they should bring a trap or 2 out. I had a family of acrobatic squirrels in my attic last year.
it sounded as though they were using the 2x4 boards i use for a walkway as a diving board. At 3a.m. and they would start what sounded like jumping from board to board, it's a wild way to get woken up.

Animal control won't do anything here, to many private contractors around, and they aren't allowed to take the business away from them.

DEMO, can i live in your Attic for a while? i am such a pleasant guy that no racoon or human can tolerate my company!
i will be eating only marshmallows, no need for much food. and when problem is solved, i will catch a flight back home.

Never thought to rent my attic, the idea sounds promising.
