I wanna put some pictures on this SD card i got, its the one with the micro SD card in it from a cell phone.

I put the SD card in its slot, got a little "ding" noise, but the computers not recognizing it, i cant access it.

How do i do this? How do i access it, so i can put pictures on it, to transfer them to another computer?

I had this the other day, google said to uninstall the drivers and reinstall them. Fuck that I thought, so rebooted with the card in the reader and it worked.

If all else fails, turn it off and on again!

Formatting will lose all the data tho....

Said he's putting pics on it but I don't think he can format anyway if there's no access, maybe the off on thing will work.

Turn the computer on then off with the card in you mean? Did that, and still nothing.

Tried the format thing too. "My computer" isn't showing the card, its literally not showing up anywhere.

Im also not getting the "ding" noise anymore when i take it out and put it back in.

Only thing I can think of is to make sure the SD Card Adapter's "Lock" switch is pulled to the "Off" direction which is on the left of the SD Card Adapter. There should be an arrow that shows which direction "Lock" is so just pull it in the opposite direction. As for me, sometimes when I use my SD Card Adapter in my laptop it'll give me the "DING" sound but may not pull up the stuff on the card at all and sometimes it does.... mainly cuz my laptop is like 6 years old and it somehow touches the side of the card sometimes when I put it in my laptop and pulls it to the "Lock" setting itself. Try blowing on the SD Adapter port on the outside of your pc cuz it may just be dusty in there? Hope you find a fix.

Another way to do this would be to load the chip in your cellphone pull the pics up and send them to me through a text/picture message and ill email them to you (jsteel) and then save them on your comp. You kno i like nudies and i always show u the women i throw my dick in buddy

i blew in it, nothing.

its not in the lock position, and im no longer getting the "Ding" sound.

it only gave me the "ding" sound the first time i put it in, but even then, it didn't give me any way to access it.

Which os are you using, xp, vista, win7. That will determine the best way to get to the manager and see if the card is corrupted. It may be that it is just corrupt and windows cant see the drive. The drive manager should have what you need to access the drive but I need the os to tell you the steps that may return your access to the misbehaving sd card.

i have the same problem and as mentioned before i just leave it in and restart my pc. Sometimes have to go into "my computer" and look for it and manually open it, but it works all the same

Just get yourself a 1TB or 500GB Western Digital External Portable Hard Drive and be done with it so you can store all your pr0n in one place and still be able to take it wherever your travels take you! They're significantly cheaper now than they were 2-3 years ago. If you're thinking about getting a USB flash drive of around 32GB's or more... it's better to just get a portable hard drive with Gig's of space! Think about it, that's a lot of pr0n.
