Man, I have to tell you that the idea of an un-killable, regenerating entity whose been forgotten here on earth, and whose sole purpose for existing is to feed on humans plays right into my childhood fears of God (brought up in a seriously penticostal family). So, Jeepers Creepers (the first one) scared the living shit outta me.

Nevertheless, Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs is probably the scariest fucker I've seen on film, because I Know that there are real, highly intellegent, psyco-fuckers in this world who do shit like the every day.

p.s. Earhta Kitt as catwoman gets an honorable mention (Oohhh, creapy)

First off the guy from Hellraiser isn't named Hellraiser he's Pinhead and he was creepy as hell when I was a kid.

Oh, and to anybody who said the thing from Jeepers Creepers, you are such a pussy, those movies sucked ass and weren't even slightly scarey. The movies were far too corny and cheesy to be scarey at all, or maybe I was just too old when I saw them.

But for all time freakiest I gotta go with the guy who said Pennywise from Stephen Kings "IT". Still to this day I think it's the scariest damn creature from any movie ever. When I was a kid I couldn't sleep for weeks after I saw that movie. Now days there isn't a damn movie that can scare me cause I'm too old to believe in any of it, but BY FAR it was Pennywise who tramautized my childhood. I still love IT to this day and think it's a GREAT movie, but it stopped scaring me. Tim Curry did a fuckin incredible job with this role.

The only movies that even give me a chill today are the real life thrillers like Hostel, cause there's a reality to being drugged by hot girls giving you drinks and waking up tied to something and being tortured. That could easily happen to any guy at any moment and no amount of muscle or being a bad ass could help you. Beautiful women could easily drug any guy. Creatures and shit like that stopped scaring me years and years ago.

The scariest critter for me was the alien from John Carpenters remake of "The Thing".
That was a seriously scary movie monster.

"The Ring" was the first scary movie since "Arachnaphobia" that I actually lost sleep over (really afraid of spiders, always have been. Yes, I know it was stupid to watch the movie but I was young and curious, sue me). The scene near the beginning where the mom is talking about finding her daughter in the closet really freaked me out. Everytime I remember the face it just messes with me.

Billy from Black Christmas still creeps me the fuck out. Clint Howard at the end of Evil]speak and the cannibal fuck from Grim Reaper(Anthropomaphogus) that eats rips the fetus out of a pregnant woman and eats it. Ray Pye from Jack Ketchum's The Lost is one intense mother.
