Hey i wanted to do an informal poll about peoples p2p programs? <Rant> i know most people use kazaa, evne though thats stupid. Try using Kazaa lite, its a way better program and doesnt contain any of the spyware or pop up ads. </Rant> So, what is your favorite p2p program?

well i used to use Kazaa (yeah damnit lite!! everybody uses lite but still calls it kazaa)

but other then downloading porn its not really good for anything anymore..
ever tried downloading a movie? haw takes ages..

i refuse to download a movie until after its been released on dvd. this ups the chances that ill actually download something that is watchable. any youd be suprised as to how many people use the regular kazaa. im still amazed that they put up with the pop ups and other crap. i take it off and replace it with lite and they usually dont notice.

I like Winmx, Kazaa, SoulSeek, or MIRC for music.

Iuse KazaaLite....have used SwapNut and LimeWire before but was never impressed. KazaaLite is even becoming shitty since the feds got their hands involved.

I use Kazaa... Speed 800kb/sec d/l a movie... no prbs there
Direct Connect is a good one too. High speeds there

no P2P software here . I use IRC (mostly mIRC with the addition of XDCCKlipper. wanna know what it is? ask ) for my stuff. guaranteed complete, fast and stable. no virusses at bots like Kazaa has and it doesn't fuck your connection up with spyware or pop-ups, not does it block it totally as I've noticed with several ppl I know...

I use MIRC. Good stuff. The only bad thing is you just cant type in what you want. You have to browse people files then dl them. Still good though.

Yeah I just use mIRC. The bastard fuck administrators at my college implemented some shit where p2p programs simply will not connect, or they connect and the bandwidth won't exceed 1k. It's bunk.

But if I can find stuff on the internet (and download it from a site) I can get about 700k. I can't complain about that I guess.

but I'm sure that saves a shitpot full of bandwidth for them, eh?
