Please! Help with corrupt jpgs

HI! I've been given a (girl) friend's laptop to fix its o/s. Not that I know much on how to fix it, but I intended to do a simple c: format and wtf.

Anyway, I decided to run a File Recovery software to peek what came out, and I found what may be some INTERESTING pics...

I've managed to recover a big bunch of jpg's, which seem corrupted, and I wanted to know if anybody here knows how to fix them (or any software to do it).

The files seem to be ok (5 mb each image), and Image properties as resolution anda date are recognized by windows properties, but files won't open with windows image browser, nor with photoshop.

Flash card recovery software has been useless up to now.

So I hope you can help me!

If the pics are corrupted, what about them is interesting? And are you sure they are pics? 5MB for a pic is really fucking big.

Well, I'm quite sure they are pics, as long as Windows recognizes them as so.

They are interesting cause they appear to be pornographic - I thought the word 'interesting' suggested that, specially in this forum.

They will be more interesting when I can fix them and reveal what they picture. So I can post them here.

And 5mb is a correct size for a professional camera, which is what this friend does: she's a pro photographer.

Also, I put this message on the lounge because I thought this is an issue regarding the pics themselves, I did't see it as a software problem, but as a contribution problem.
