Any fans of the NBC show Parenthood?

Directed by Ron Howard, with what is undoubtedly the best cast on television today, this real-life drama of a fairly typical American family is what I consider to be one of the best pieces of television ever created.

I watch it, but I don't know why. There's always a crisis, that seems like it could be major, but it always fizzles within two episodes. IMO, not good drama. Far, far removed from really good TV dramas like Hill Street Blues and NYPD Blue.
The women are all good looking though

Maybe that's why I like it. It reminds me of my family. Good families get crises under control rather than letting them linger. I think the writing and acting is phenomenal. Scenes where entire groups of people are talking at the same time and it's just like a scene out of my own living room. Tough stuff to replicate on a studio.
