One gun.

If you had to choose to have one gun, and one gun only; What would that gun be and why?
There are no rules to what type of gun you can have (no rockets or explosives)

I would personally choose the AK-47. It's reliable and you can throw it in mud, sand, whatever it drops in you can pick it right back up and it will still work like a charm.

I would have to agree. Along with several million others, as gaged by it's popularity. There are also a million and one mods and accessories for it and it's the most widely available ammunition in the world after .22 LR.

indeed the ak would be amongst my weapons of choice,

but somehow i love the m1 garand and its successor the m14....

I have no experience with the AK-47, sounds like a logical choice...

But for myself, just for shooting preference, I love my 16ga, 5 shot bolt action shotgun, I just like the way it feels, its comfortable and fun to shoot

then again, a ar15 would not be a bad choice... ammo is common...

i thank the guns y'all speak of are some really good and big guns no dought. but i really like my 357 revolver.

for one it is nice looking. and it is very loud and when you take it out it really gets peoples attention

but the stainless is my preference

and with a good hollow point it can do some real damage

as nice of a gun that it is, i would rather stay back and take a longer shot.... it gives you more time if something goes wrong....

any metal storm gun.... anything else is shit compared to these weapons... 1,000,000 rnds a min... !!!!! and can't ever jam...

The Honda gun is pure win..

Anyone Remember the movie Troy and the fight where there's a shit ton outside the castle? Well if you had two well placed snipers and a few guys on the floor with ar15's, you could take em all out.

It might seem a little old fashioned, but a Mauser 98 has always worked for me. I,ve only had to buy 2 of them in the last 30 years. My brother has the Brno K98 that I got when I was 18. After moving back home at 50 yrs old, i picked up a Turkish G98. Then for giggles,I take out my Mauser 71/84 carbine and toss a few rounds of 11mm black powder around to shake things up!
