Every now and then, I do get into ghost stories too. There was one such ghost story movie that I do not remember the name of. This story first took place in the early 1920s (There was a first or second generation Ford automobile used in this movie.) where there was this group of men with this one woman. They all seemed to be having some regular fun together and everything, but there was one night when they were dancing/partying. A little later on, there was some dispute/altercation about who the young woman was going to dance with whom, but eventually, she said to one of the men, "Dance with me, you toad!" This man replied, "OK, s--t." or something like that - shortly before she slapped him across his face for making that remark. It really escalated from there, and she ended up getting knocked out. All of the men began to panic as they assumed that she was dead, so they took her to their automobile and drove it to a swamp. They all got out and pushed the car into either the quicksand/water. As the horseless carriage sank very slowly in the swamp or whatever, the woman apparently woke up and started banging on the rear window, definitely letting the men know that she was still alive. However the men could not - or would not - rescue her since it was almost too late anyhow and plus, even if they did rescue her, she would definitely go to the local police and file attempted murder charges against her ex-friends. So they let her drown.
A few decades later (either the late 1940s or the 1950s) each of the men were being haunted by the ghost of that woman. For example, the one whom she called a toad was driving on a snowy road before he all of a sudden drove through the woman's ghost. Not believing what he saw, he crashed in a ditch and realized that he was not going to be able to get out.
Then, to that man's horror, she - the woman's ghost - appeared in the backseat and repeated, "Dance with me, you toad!" as she killed him as the automobile's horn rang. 
This vengeful female ghost had killed most of the other men too. The last man that she confronted was in a house, and she appeared as she was when she was alive. The man of course, was obviously scared out of his skull as the ghost mentioned the fact that they have not seen each other in a long time. Then she asked, "Don't you want to discover what you have (already) touched?" before she pulled off her veil (or something like that) and turned into a skeleton. Meanwhile, someone else (I believe a younger man) was at the Original Crime Scene where the men witnessed that woman drowning, and somehow brought the automobile - with the woman's skeletal remains in it - back up to the surface. Needless to say, shortly after this Dark Secret Truth was finally brought to Light decades after it actually happened, this (television) movie ended. Given the fact that this was one of the creepiest ghost stories that I have ever seen, I thought that it was pretty good.
If anyone knows the name of this particular program - which I saw either back in the 1980s or early 1990s - then please let me know something. Thank you very much.
