That's probably one of the coolest natural phenomenons ever, hope I get to see it with my own eyes some day. We have it in the northern part of Norway as well.

Another cool thread mate. Some people might find nature boring, but theres some pretty cool things you can see, like this. I'd love to go and see this in real life sometime.

Yellowkife, I know that from Ice Road Truckers, not sure why but I like that show
And a thanks from Fairbanks,Alaska for posting the pics. Believe it or not, I have to travel about 15 miles out of town to get out where you can really see some light shows. Between this and a full moon you can travel without headlights and read a book on a good night. Maybe some day I'll learn how to download photos on my computer and add to the mix on this site.
I am from Ontario...and I wish I could see those in person!! how often do they happen?
