So far it's "ok" I guess. I'm still not familiar with the cast, unlike band of brothers.
The first episode is Guadalcanal, actually Guadalcanal will be the first 3 episodes.

The Pacific centers it's attention on only 3 main characters (Robert Leckie, John Basilone and Eugene Sledge),
unlike band of brothers which took a personal look into most of the 101st.

I am looking forward to Episode 2.
