Negativity lately on the forum

Is this the end of gaso?

Would it be good to create something like "Flame wars" in WBW General forum?

Don't take me wrong, I think that Diz's idea is good...

Seriously though, I think this is a good idea, as long as it's used with reason. I know what diz means about the "random threads" and I agree that it was just negative complaining.

I agree with Diz. There are those usually noobs who don't intentially but still do piss us off. There are also legit times when we have to vent our frustrations as well which may anger others. There are some (few) here who just want to annoy and piss people off because they are assholes. I am confident that the mods no the difference and may already have some worthy suspects in mind that aren't me.

This is not about the rights mods get, and ofcourse I will be monitoring mods more closely and kick out a mod if he doesn't do a good job and take things much to personal. A mod should stay objective in any way, getting personaly involved wouldn't be a good thing. I have always been objective when I get a ban request or get a tip about a member beeing not so nice and not keeping to the rules. Ofcourse when a mod uses his right in a discussion I will use my power to put the mod on his right place... and that is the person is not suitable for a mod position anymore.

Everybody takes this much to personaly. I just want to give out that too much people get in a flamewar about a different oppinion. have seen guys fightin about a girl that was a little bigger then the avarage girl, I think everybody has his own taste his own humor and a little more respect to eachother would be a good start and will make this a much nicer place.

The graylisting system is agains advertising spammers, not post spammers Like my buddy Devilhair who likes to spam every topic.. same with watty my drunk english pub buddy.

So people a little more respect would be a good start, and I will do the rest and use fefe's spoon to keep moderators on there place and ofcourse a mod should add a damn good reason why somebody is silenced.

i havent seen so much of the negativity lately... what do you mean?
i think often negativity results from misunderstandings (maybe due to language problems some people might have)and people shouldnt take everything so serious... i mean where´s the line between a joke and seriously pissing people off?
i also think it´s ok to make fun of the newbies sometimes (in general, not of particular persons)if you stay nice. i mean everyone was a noob once and had to go through that. thats why you want to develop your status... isnt it?

More respect but also some here need a little thicker skin and be the bigger man. If someone calls your post a pilsbery dough girl like they did mine. Just ignore it or come back with a witty answer. No need to get angry. I think it takes two to strart a flame war.
