right ok... i've captured an image via screen shot, and i've cut it down so its not the whole screen... but i want to cut the image out.. and place it so it has no background. i've selected the image and i can cut it but i dunno what to do from there... i thought it might be like paste image as it is, but i dunno what im doing, i want to do this so when u view the image its just the image and no white background or no checkerd squares... i thought i did it but it only worked when i saved it as a .GIF file i would like to save it as either .JPEG or .BMP any suggestions or help? thanks

the checker squares means you are viewing a transparent background...

im not really sure how to save it like that... i think you save it as a gif but im not sure....

you should save it as a psd until someone more knowledgable can tell you

yeah... you can prolly edit around the image... using shadows and neutral colors that will blend it and still make it work though

but it may be more trouble than it is worth

this may help you
instead of making an animated image just use the image with a transparent background
