I like the gymnastics, personally. Of course, I've been slammed busy at work and haven't had time to watch. Not to mention, I'm in a different time zone, so I typically hear who won the medals while I was sleeping, etc., so the replays aren't that exciting.

Congratulations to Jessica Fox who is a local resident of the Blue Mtns for securing a Silver Medal in the Womens K1 Kayaking at the London Games. A fantastic result for her in achieving this result on the world stage. Continues a family tradition in excellence at the highest level. Hopefully we will see her again in 2016 !

Ivebeen watching a fair bit here in Wales, mainly cuz there's fuck all to do when it rains.
I surprised myself when i loved watching the womens uneven bars, and GB's Beth Tweddle getting bronze was impressive. Then I saw the men's High bar yesterday and that seriously amazed me, again, I've never even watched gymnastics.
I'm also pleased that Team GB are currently third in the medal table, we finished fourth in 2008 and I think 9th or 10th in 2004.

I actually enjoy watching lots of events that I'd never watch normally (e.g. fencing, archery, or badminton). And if I were 30 years younger and had the body of those swimmers or gymnasts, I'd have no problem getting pussy!
I especially enjoy when an athlete wins a medal for a country that has never won one before. Surprisingly, I'm an American but what pisses me off is that NBC tends to show only events where an American is involved. If it's an event and no American is involved (such as men's soccer, er, football) then we won't see any of the qualifying games, but only highlights.

True all of that. At this point Kayaking and the stupid equestrian shit are the only events I haven't watch. Love the Olympics.

Dude i totally agree! Ok, GB won gold, but tbh I have no idea how. All I saw was some horse trotting round sideways to some music, and then the next horse came out and did EXACTLY the same.....
Then I saw some spectators saying they had tears watching it!
WHAT?!?
Gotta say I was really pleased about the women's boxing. And the taekwondo too.
