Image hosts

Hello guys! People on this forum are uploading pics to different image hosting sites. Most of them have concealed pop-ups and other irritating stuff. Pics uploaded to ImageBunk are the worst, many of them are impossible to open, it just states image loading, please wait... And nothing happens!

Many people have been complaining about this on different threads so I decided to post this note about the issue. Me and surely many others are hoping that you'd use ChickUpload, as it's pop-up and hassle free. Thanks for your input!

[b][/b]Yeah, I've noticed that. Sometimes if you click on an image 3, 4 or more times it will load, but as you say imagebunk is irritating!

I agree with the fact that crap imagehosts suck...

However, with FireFox, and Adblock plus, I rarely find an imagehost that I can't view without a problem.

using adblock plus is a nice idea...it blocks almost all ads

one should ensure they know who exactly is posting the pics to the links we all click on in the 'home' section. Twice now I have clicked on a picture in the link and ended up with a massive virus that immediately freezes my computer and then posts a page that says I have been caught by the police ( in my case RCMP, but I have heard in the USA it's FBI) any rate it says you can be freed by paying a one time fee of $100. This virus was devleoped in Russa a year or so ago, and for the most part has preyed on heavily regulated users in Asia and the middle east. I has started to go to north america. I am fairly good with computers and was able to get the virus out, but most will have to pay somehow to the right to use your computer again. I ahve read where some people, because it gives you a 48hr window to "pay" let the computer sit unused for that time and it goes away. My advice is not to click on any windows in the home section, if you go to the 'babes ' section on this site they seem to be ok... love to hear from others who ran into this problem.

ohh and for those who say "where am i surfing'... only this site, nothing illegal, the 2nd time my computer froze with that virus I clicked on a "g" rated picture of Carman Electra ... so be careful

I am not able to view images on ChickUpload????? - just see the logo. Tried registering with them, but I constantly get a 404 error when i try to submit???

The links on the home page are exactly the same as the links in the babe section that would lead to the picture you are clicking on.
Also, there is no virus associated with WBW and that can be verified with website that analyse degree of infection of a website. WBW has none (source)

Also, how can a picture of Carmen Electra be on the home page ? The home page only display pictures/movies from the database and those are supposed to be amateur. Sure there are some pro here and there but I doubt there would be one of a known model/actress like her.
There is a thread in the Famous Babes section with picture of Carmen Electra, hosted on imageteam.org, but the site seems to be safe too (source)

So I don't really know what you did, but either you didn't click where you said you clicked, or your computer is already infected in the first place and is randomly opening pop-ups when you click somewhere.

Sometimes I can't see the full pics on ChickUpload too but I just have to refresh the page (F5 of Ctrl+F5 to clear the cache as well) and they display fine.
Never had a 404 when uploading though

Thanks but still doesnt work - just see the chickupload logo - no picture (thumnails view ok)??????

Barney: what are the problems you are having exactly?

When I click on a thumnail in a post it takes me to the Chickupload site, but where the full sized picture should be displayed there is just the Chickupload logo.
