image duplicate finder

I was looking for something to help sort my duplicate pics and found this software http://www.download.com/VisiPics/3000-2193_4-10458663.html?tag=pdp_prod yesterday.
It knows if the picture is the same even if its a different size, or dimensions, or has website tags on it. I dont know how it does it but i have just thrown out half a gig of duplicate pr0n.

Okay, running this software proves that I have to be awake when I load up porn from the web. Way too many duplicate pics of redheads.

I have a program that I used to use when I uploaded pics. Not sure how it'd compare to that one.

What I had been using only found exact duplicates, this appears to work much better, although it appears that it's going to take a couple hours.

This program is amazing! I know I have alot of duplicate pics, but I never imagine it was as much as this thing found! I dont want to understand how it works, but its one of the best freeware programs I've found in a long time.

I've been using DupDetector (also found at Download.com), and that works wonders for helping me clean up my pics. Don't know how it compares to this one, but I like it.

I don't store porn on my computer so It's no use to me whatsoever. I vote this thread a 1

I've used jv16 PowerTools for ages now, it includes dupe finder and LOTS of other awesome tools. Even watty knows it's awesome.

Gee my Kodak Easyshare has the same function.

I never realized how new this old "trick" was to people.

i think it just randomly tags files and says they are dupes and deletes and we all go marrily on our way. Do you think it deletes every file i have downlaoded named "ME.JPG"? I have a ton of those of various sites (very imaginitive naming nomenclature at myspace).

It doesnt even look at the name of the file, i have plenty of the same name file in different folders, plus you get to choose which ones to delete so you can have top quality pr0n all the time!

No, let's just say I am a neat freak and duplicate images is not cool in my book.
