So, I'm not really sure if this is the correct forum for it, but I'm going to try. For some reason, yesterday, my internet explorer stopped letting me get to Whatboyswant.com, however, Firefox let's me get here... wtf. I'm not turing this into a "which is better" argument, but I'd would MUCH rather have WBW back on my IE. Anyone have any pointers?

I honestly can't think of anything constructive to say without more details. Without getting into why FF is better, why the preference to use it in IE? Just curious.

for some reason, FF takes FOREVER to load anything. I'm not the patient type. Is that just a mozilla thing or is there something else rong with my fairly new computer... I swear, if my life didn't require one, I wouldn't have one

In Firefox, try this.

. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return. Scroll down and look for the following entries:

network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests

Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time. When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.

2. Alter the entries as follows:

Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"

Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30. This means it will make 30 requests at once.

3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer.
Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.

If you're using a brodband connection you'll load pages 2-30 times faster now.

If you'd like help making IE work for you, I'll see what I can do. Can you describe what happens when you try to go to wbw in IE? What type of error does it give or what kind of screen shows up?

try this :
http://personal.inet.fi/business/toniarts/ecleane.htm
Clear history.
clear cookies.
clear files.
take a look at what starts up with your computer, and see if there is anything that you know is not supposed to be there (if you dont know, provide a screenshot).
Run the registry tool.
Now reboot...
if that does not solve your problem you might try this one http://www.spybot.info (remember to update it)

Try Re-installing IE7 with out installing IE updates at the same time, wait untill its installed and then do a windows update, that did work for me
