i need more heavy metal bands in my cd wallet...

can anyone recommend me some good bands / albums to pick up, i cant get enough of heavy metal....anyways ill post all the cds in my wallet so far, oh btw im sorry if anyone thinks im whoring the music section....just no other reliable sites have any of the topics i wanna read

I highly suggest checking out Avenged Sevenfolds album Walking The Fallen. The band Soil and all of their stuff. Oh and Mushroomhead, songs Born Of Desire and Solitare Unraveling. All my favorites.

Well, im sorry Avenged Sevenfold isnt to your liking. Its definatly not gothic death metal. The Walking The Fallen album has more of an angry resurected 80's sound to it. I do admit the new stuff that they are doing is a little too wimpy for me. I could see why you wouldnt like them based off of your recommendation. However, im not bashing your recommendation. Please do not bash mine. Everyone is entitled to their own oppinion, you ever heard the saying "if you dont have anything nice to say, dont say it at all"?

Reign in Blood = Best metal of all time. Next in line for me is Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime and anything by Dream Theater.
