Without knowing much about you I doubt anyone is going to be able to help much. Weight loss and physique, fitness, etc, are dependent on so many things.
First, as you've been told, a body ain't everything if there isn't some charm or humor to go with it. Sure, you'll score, but the girls that go for body only will likely have all the brains, etc of your hand, so you may as well stay with your hand.
Second, exercise without a proper diet is pointless as is diet without exercise. You'll need to do both.
Diet - eat pretty much how you do anyway but cut your portions down by half, except for any non-dressed vegetables. Stick to lean meats at a minimum, lots of fruit and veg. Learn to love water. Give up booze and soft drink.
Exercise - Run or bike - lots. Assuming you have some fitness, 5km minimum. Throw in lots of fartlek sessions - sprint 400m, run 400m, sprint, etc. Learn to love the pushups and chinups and situps - you can pretty much skip the weights entirely. As someone said earlier, you already have a six pack, most people do, you just have to get the fat off of the top of it.
