Yes, 1 TB external that mirrors, so I *only* get 500 GB of capacity out of it, but it's worth it to mirror my data. Another 250 GB external portable drive, I have no idea how many USB flash drives I have, those things get handed out like candy. About 10GB worth of compact flash cards because when I go somewhere I take my camera, I take NEF (raw) images, and I shoot a lot of them. 1 laser printer and one combo scanner/color printer.

Work, household recordkeeping (bills, maintenance, like a file cabinet without all the paper), photography storage and editing, music download and storage, reading news, surfing the net. Hard to have a primary reason, I'm in the tech industry and people who don't have a computer at home are the exception.
