just reading an article in the paper the other day and how it mentioned that 8 out of 10 families with kids in Oz had a computer and on the internet, and 75% of those have broadband...

so it got me wondering....

1. how many computers in your house?
2. how many of those are laptops?
3. do you have external storage devices or printer/scanners? (ExtHD or USB drives)
4. do you have broadband/cable or dial up?
5. is your connection wireless?
6. did you set it all up yourself or have a friend/tech/your kids do it for you?
7. what are your primary reasons for having a comp at home?
8. Do you download alot? or just use it to surf the net for porn?
9. how many hours a day are you on the net from HOME(doesnt include work hours)?

we have 4

3 laptops and one PC, my personal laptop though is a macbook pro

got one external drive (450GB) for me, and another 350GB for the wife. I have 3 printers hooked up to a PC and on a wireless printer Hub so we can access from the laptops. Got one scanner and countless USB memory sticks

we got broadband, not the best...but fastest were able to get..

5. is your connection wireless?
indeed..

6. did you set it all up yourself or have a friend/tech/your kids do it for you?
set it all up myself....was a techy n00b at the time (worse than now) but i got it all working

working mostly, but also to keep contact with friends online

download TV series etc....not as much as i used to, now its mainly to be on forums and IM

from home...maybe 3 max....sometimes more..

only when i couldnt be bothered to get out of bed and get the laptop, ill get on from my HTC phone (WiFi)
or when im out of the house in the mall or something, i use the wireless broadband on my phone.
