It depends on if you slap them in the side of the head with the ear piece or on the other side of the head without it. It also depends on what angle you slapped them. If you slapped them from front to back on the side of the head that had the earphone, if should pop off easily. If you slapped them on the head from back to front on the side with the ear piece, it stands the chance of staying on better. If you slapped them either from front to back or back to front on the opposite side of the head with the ear phone, it would most likely stay on unless they jerked their head real quick or you used a closed fist.
I'd suggest finding a guy wearing one, then going up to him and slap the side from front to back without the ear phone, then quickly from back to front, then do the side with the ear phone from back to front then from front to back. It should definitely come off by then.
Then you can pick up the ear phone and stuff it into his ear canal and kick his head between your foot and the pavement to really drive it in. Then the next time you see him he’ll be wearing it in the other ear and you can try the experiment in reverse. The real question here is, is it easier to slap an ear phone off the right side of the head or the left side of the head.
Also, whether or not you are right or left handed would come into play.
