@Kanzen: The blankening.
@Demo: He didn't mean you.
I can barely use my phone on the site anymore, still figuring shit out with the layout, so mah next few posts will be quotes from the first few pages. I could copy paste.... Fine. Jesus.
Onto page two. Started off great:
@EL: Ohh how did you earn that monies?
Then the rest of the page fell into a rhyme thing that I won't be a part of. Onto page three!!! *holds onto hat*
*checks page number*. No yep, this is three.
Okay, so.
You'll never guess who I run into the other day at Home Depot. None other than a dude I went to highschool with named Mark.
We weren't friends or anything. Still nice to see someone looking bad from highschool. His ladyfriend was a heavy.

"The Hollywood movie star and eighth-generation Kentuckian is seriously exploring a 2014 run for the Senate to take on the powerful Republican leader, four people familiar with the matter tell Politico. In recent weeks, Judd has spoken with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) about the possibility of a run, has discussed a potential bid with a Democratic pollster and has begun to conduct opposition research on herself to see where she’s most vulnerable in the Bluegrass State.
If I were her opponent I would play up the fact that Ashley looks like a fat Chinese baby these days. That won’t go over well in Kentucky. If this pampered Hong Kong millionaire prince thinks he can come over and take our jobs, we’ll he’s got anther thing comin!"

Mercenary work. I have a particular set of skills that I have honed over a long career.
Also, I played some of that XBOWKS360 Black Ops. It's stupid. If I just shoot that fucker Melendez when I run into him in Vietnam while he's looking at the radio I can save the world lots of troubles, but it won't let me do that.
Also weaksauce: making a bro pay money to play online against other people. What the shitballs kind of jabroni operation are those XBOXers running over there. Buying the game should be enough moolah to let you play some online adventures.

Well there are some solid reasons that they charge for the service.
1. Even established infrastructure requires maintenance and cost of logistics.
2. It allows them to use said money to improve said infrastructure.
3. They only make a small percentage off of each game sold--usually around $7 a game.
4. They still are losing close to $80 on each 360 sold.
That being said, they fact that they still cramp ads down our throats pisses me off to no end.
Steam Box will be superior.

Steam is free after you just buy the game.
The playstation things are free after you just buy the game.
The only one that isn't free after you buy the game is the stupid XBox people. Fuckers.

Steam doesn't provide the dedicated game servers, the individual game publishers do. They take the hit.

Same thing, Sony doesn't provide the dedicated game servers, just the transactional and communications. Game publishers provide the game servers, thats why you can't play non-so-popular games online anymore. Try starting up a game of Resident Evil Outbreak, or anything more than 5 years old. Won't happen because the game publisher's shut down the servers due to cost and lack of interest. As a consequence, bad pings, strange maintenance schedules and downtime.

But it gets you dedicated game servers, better pings, and a unified service. Right now you can pick up any launch release game and still play online. Not so much with the PS3.

What about every game that use Steamworks ? They use Steam infrastructure to run (matchmaking, servers, anti-cheat etc.).
Also, a lot of console games don't even bother with dedicated servers but rather uses p2p connections.
