They are not the same thing, and they should not be classified as such.

I know that there are tons of differente types of drawn movies/pics and am no expect on what the difference is. But in MY PERSONAL OPPINION anything that is "drawn" is "kind of childish" That covers anything from the Simpsons to Manga. I enjoy is, but still think its to childish to mix with "porn"

That is a pretty narrow scope. I'd suggest you watch Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell (the movies, and the two series), Ergo Proxy, Blame, Blood (the movie, and the new series), Cowboy Bebop, Akira, Black Lagoon, and many others including Berserk the manga.

If you think those kind of works are "childish" than you have some serious issues to work out since they deal with rape and its affects, society critiques, ultra violence, politics, hate mongering, and public dissonance, and plenty of other things not deemed safe for children.

Let me say it in another way. Growing up I watch a fair amount of cartoons, just like a lot of other kids. I still watch some animated movies like fx final fantasy and enjoyed it lot. But I still asociate drawn/animated movies with something a child would watch, and therefor I don't enjoy watching drawn/animated stuff mixed with porn, or some of the other thing you mentioned like rape. I don't say it don't excist but that don't mean I can't think its wrong to mix the two

Hardly.

You basing your opinion on a narrow scope of animation that is intended for children, and not the full picture. There are plenty of works that are animated/drawn just for adults. And I am not talking about pornography works, I'm talking about lengthy stories and sagas.

If you sat your kid down in front of Ghost in the Shell, they obviously would not grasp the discussion and commentary of society's affect on the future. Nor would they understand the underlying theme of what humanity and life really is.

Hentai is alright.. Hardcore hentai is not. Who the hell wants to see girls raped by 7 penistentacles?

If I watch anything that is a cartoon, it has to be funny, I can't dig that serious anime stuff or the toon porn. I could watch Adult Swim until I pass out and drop the blunt though

I happen to like anime and hentai art except for all the monsters having sex, that's just stupid. The art itself is good though, and if it's "normal" or at least not "totally bat-shit crazy hokey" then I like it.

I see Sails' point that it's kind of kid stuff and that makes him feel weird, but we look at girls dressed as young as possible all the time. "Teen whateverhernameisthisweek" and so forth.
