Have you been stimulated?

^^ lindros is correct, it will not be considered an income that we'll be taxed for in any way

if it was it would not be an economic stimulus... would kind of cross itself out if it worked like that


i do agree with the people who have said that its not enough to make a REAL economic stimulus in day to day like. if they really wanted to make a real effect in the economy they should have given out like 3k per person, that would actually have made a difference in the big picture.

theyre trying to throw rocks into a river and hoping itll change its course.



however i also agree with the people who said why bitch about them deciding to give us back some of our money. yes its not free, however we normally would never see money like this coming back to us. i hope next year after seeing that it didnt have the effect they were looking for that we'll get back maybe at least double what they were giving out this year.

in the mean time, i wont complain or bitch the whole time while theyre handing me some of my tax money back because even though its only 300-600 dollars for me and it wont make a lasting difference, it certainly helps

i get nothing. my business lost $30,000 last year. should have gone on welfare for the free ride. just couldn't.

i got mine direct deposited yesterday.

I checked the IRS website the other day and according to my social security number they'll be mailing me my monie$ by June 6th. I live in the seventeenth century, so I don't file electronically, and thus will not be getting my return via direct deposit.

I got mine the other day...unfortunatly about half of it is going to a summer class my wife has to take, plus another 130 or so to the book for that class. So I probably wont get a thing out of it. The rest (more than likley) will go to car insurance or rent...

I wish they gave out more. Its just not enough to help out in this day and age.

Still waiting. I'll be spending mine to fix my car (don't ask ).

File for government grants and stuff for her class. The give out "free" money like that all the time. They're sending me a few grand this fall for my classes. Uncle Sam's my study buddy.

Why does any one have to pay to be "stimulated" ? LMFAO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My check was supposed to be here today. It wasn't. Not going to see much of it, though. Going to fix the coil on Meat's car, pay the cable/net bill, some toward rent, fill up the gas tank and that about taps my $900.

Got mine the other day. Finally got myself a ps3 and GTA 4.
