Foreign International Mangers!

do you think it is right that countries can hire a manager from a differnt country but players that live and play in a country can not represnt the country because they were born elsewhere? i dont think they should be able to play so i dont think they should be able to hire Foreign coaches either! i have raised this question as England are finally gonna get rid of sven but are gonna replace him with another non-english coach (more than likely i think only 2 english people have there names down as possible choices)

You can play for an international team when you weren't born there e.g John Barnes, Owen Hargreaves, most of the Republic of Ireland team and a lot of international teams never hire local managers like Australia and the African teams.

Personally i think that´s not ok but is usual

That's an interresting question. I think it should be that way (players and coach from the same country), the national teams would be more national then, but it'll never happen, because all the foreign coaches would have to be fired and they have contracts. Again money is the greatest power.

u forgot deco, i know they can as long as they have not been capped at senior level, but what i meant was as c.ronaldo is playing in england and living here then he would be able to play for england! i know it will NEVER EVER happen but my point was that international teams should only be able to USE people from the they are!

as a nailed on english man, i dont give a flying fuck where the england manager comes from, so long as he is good enough. our press got rid of two of the best managers england have had ( terry venables and now sven ) i dont care who he shags, his business dealings or anything else so long as england win something.

lets have no england manager, but have a couple of decent coaches and then like pop idol or big brother we all can vote for which players should be playing and what formation.
probably won't work but think of the money the fa would make from text voting and if the team loses the nation will be to blame as they voted for that team.

sven is one of the world best managers (supposedly) but look what he has done, he dont have the compassion a english manager would as you said "as a nailed on english man" a english manager would piss sweat and blood for england and if that manager was good then that would be even better at the end of the day when we watch our country we hate seeing them lose or draw so what would a english manager feel like? cuz sven must go oh well give a fuck i wonder how sweden did! As a manager you are exected to set an example to the people under you and sven aint exactly a role model on behaving!
