Flashmobbing ????

i just read somewhere that there is this new craze call flashmobbing? i've never heard of it before and did some research turns out its when i bunch of randoms through some chain email get togething in one place to do something random ie as of current a flashmob party at liverpool station was a rave?,

has anyone been on one of these if so how crazy do they go

simple really someone comes up with an idea to have a party at a certian location sends out an email to a few people who then send it to more people and then everyone goes to this place and has a party or something to that effect. correct me if im wrong ( how the hell do I know this ) or its just stupid people
