NO, i'm talking about taking painkillers to numb their faces before fights so they dont feel anything, not for sports injuries. Some of these guys dont feel pain when they are getting punched in the face, and people out there think its all adrenaline.

Well, getting punched causes injuries

They're taking the pain killers to deal with the injuries involved with their sport.
I used to spend 40 minutes using hot packs and being stretched by Jenn (the trainer) each day before second practice. And then I'd take the pills so that the popping sound my shoulders made (and still do) were amusing instead of painful.
