Actually I've been married for 32 year to the same woman, my only marriage. I do not fault women for this social plight. Look around gentlemen, it is what it is. I have no axe to grind. Ask any women if she would change her status in society if given the chance. NO WAY! All I ask is for is fairness and equity.

Get REAL honest with both her and yourself. I like the advice given earlier: fuck the wife more, whether you want to or not. You'll begin to realize that you want to....

You have to make time to smell the roses, man. Tell someone at work to shag off, delegate better. A garden needs water and sunshine. Give her attention. Play with the kid. Learn to sleep on 4 hours a night. Sleep on the weekends. Go bankrupt (better than losing the house in the divorce...) Talk with your creditors (Consumer Credit Counseling...)

I'll bet that if you are honest with her, if you share with her your heart and soul, your fears, hopes, and dreams, that she'd be happy to step up next to you and help you shoulder that burden. If not, cut her loose and pay child support.

It's worth it.

Remember, divorce is just a DIFFERENT set of problems....

spend more time with your wife, have great sex with her and don't forget to take some pics and post it here.

oh been there, done it and now its over. had the same exact situation. you have to realize whats most important,unfortunatly its not you, the wife, the job or money its the kid. my situation did not come to a happy ending, but i/we have a healthy baby that we still raise together. you do not have to be husband and wife to raise a baby just mother and father!!!!!!and the baby doesnt care, nor understand the concept of money, they just understand love......as long as you can provide that your good. they have to eat too, but thats another story.

At the original question:

I feel you pain, the financial part anyway. It's taken me 5 years but I'm now just comming out of debt and opening my first small business by saving only about 50 bucks a paycheck for 4 years. It's not always as easy as "just get a better job."

So I would advise that if you have a job thats not something you love, find one, even if the pay is substandard. Also, put your finances on paper. If you wouldn't be able to get stable in seven years, fuck it, declare banruptcy and get that money monster off you neck.

As a last resort, I would consider the military. If you can hack it, the great thing about the service is your problems become the military's problems. You'd have support in health/dental care, legal council, military loans w/ no intrest (for emergencies). Just remember that when signing up for a service, who do you want next to you if you deploy.

Anyway, thats my two cents.

Its all very simple, if you love her, tell her you love her and that you want to do whatver to make things work... if you dont.. divorce her, move on and start a new life..

Well today I bought a newspaper and there was this girl whom I think looks identical. Soooo? Well her is my problem. The girl on the cover article's name is Natascha Kampusch. Well as it turned out; She had been kidnapped at age ten and held for 8 years until she escaped from her abducter, who then promptly committed suicide. (abducter)
