End of the world is coming tomorrow 21.12.2012 or is it? Discuss it here..

Ancient Maya calendar says that end of the world will come tomorrow.. any thoughts of it?

Personally if it comes tomorrow I am ready to go.. nothing to loose, no regrets..

The Mayan calendar never said the world would end. It's just the end of the calendar which is supposed to be the beginning of new cycle.

What would you think would happened if it would really end tomorrow?
- Alien invasion
- Zombies! (Can't wait to play Walking Dead IRL)
- World War 3: the nuclear edition

If the world would actually end, I would think it would be some type of apocalyptic explosion or something like that, maybe like a meteor colliding with the earth or something...

Bolon Yokte' K'uh descends upon the world for 9 days. What he does for those 9 days is anybody's guess. He might disembowel us and eat our entrails. Or he might invite us to play Pok-Ta-Pok. More than likely he will decide we have already fucked up enough and leave us to our own devices.

According to documentaries I've seen on the topic this is pretty high on the list of possibilities for the end of the world. In the recent past some very large asteroids have come close without us noticing it until they were incredibly close. There have been collisions with meteors, etc. in the past but obviously the impact wasn't severe enough to destroy the planet.

On a personal note, I'm not really afraid of dying, I just don't want a lot of pain and suffering involved. I don't believe anything harmful is going to happen just because it's December 21st anyway.

A friend and I got to talking the other day about the end of the world and all but he couldn't answer my question. If the world is to end what time and how? I'm in Canada and you guys are in the states I believe. So is the world ending your time or my time or even Australia time? And what's gonna happen ? Is the world gonna explode or zombies or just a power outage?
