DVD Music disc from MP3's

Hello All,
I have a friend [ legally not in my hands ] who has 400 CDR's of MP3
music files and wants to now shrink this via using a DVD disc.

The DVD blank has 120 min on the surface.

But The DVD software for music only does CD blanks.

So is there any software to make a DVD from MP3 files
1. That may play on a normal TV type DVD player ?
2. Or Just A PC DVD player with windows Media Player as an example ?

Hardware : HP 300i DVD Writer [ +R only ]
Software that came with HP DVD drive does not create DVD Music disks.

ME : I only have 2 music cd's my self .

But Someone somewhere has created a DVD Music disk and I would
like to learn how to do this also.

P.S. Adobe Encore advertises it will do it, but at + $500 usd = empty bank account.

Not really following what you-re are asking, but the 120min means nothing if you-re using mp3 music files. The DVD disc will hold upto 4.7gb of data (around 6 x more than a standard cdr). The disc can then be played in any DVD ROM.

Software i use is Nero 6, which does everything i ask of it.

I have no idea if this has helped, let me know.

The HP DVD Drive came with some software but not Nero 6.
i.e. - > RecordNow from Veritas which records music CD's using CDR disc's
But it will not record to a DVD +R disc.

I see Nero 6 has a demo version so I will try this and see if it will create a
DVD Music disk, playable in a regular DVD TV type player vs a PC DVD player.

If it is a DVD burner then i cant see any reason why you cant write to a dvdr with the software supplied with it.

MP3 WAV WMA you can use any of these file extensions.
