Duct tape, they say it has a million uses...

So what do you use duct tape for???

For starters, I have a 76 Ford dump truck, back then the vehicles didn't come with cup holders, so I improvised. I happen to keep a roll of said tape with me at all times, never know when I'll need it, I had it on my seat one day, and had my coffee cup between my legs, well I hit a bump and yup you guessed it, I had a coffee soaked crotch, I grabbed the cup and without a second thought put it in the center of the roll of duct tape, and BAM, an instant cup holder was born...

I now keep 2 rolls with me, one for my coffee cup and one for when I crack open a soda later in the day

So, I ask ye bretheran again this simple question, watcha use duct tape for???

comes in handy for unruly and loud children, either tape over their mouths or tape them to the wall for a "time-out"

Used it to hold together a Rucksack once when one of the sides split. Also currently sealing up a couple of splits in the plastic side windows of my Wrangler. I always have a roll handy when I go camping or off roading. Ever seen the Mythbusters shows on Duct tape? they build a bridge out of it.

I saw that. They weren't too thrilled to cross it.

I've seen some boat repairs done with duct tape. Not the hull, but most everything else, in a pinch.

Used duct tape last year to wrap the handle of of my racquetball racquet

I'm a student, so literally everything. Broken laptop? Mirror falling off the wall? Sofa starting to come apart? Duct Tape!

Used it to hold parts of my motorcycle in place after hitting a deer. I'm just glad I didn't need it to hold parts of me in place.

As a trailer axle dust cap.

As I walked around my trailer this morning at my second job, I look down and noticed the dust cap had disappeared, and not wanting to get all kinds of crap into the axle bearings, I walk to the cab of my truck, grab my trusty roll of grey duct tape, and bam, instant dust cover

So replaced the front wheel bearings yesterday, and lo and behold lost the damn dust cover on my way to my first job, duct tape to the rescue again
