you Canadians kill me. I work with 50 or more Canadians that came to the US because they wanted the hell out, no jobs, taxes and the healthcare was horrible. I have friends in Calgary that buy their own healthcare because with private healthcare they can see an MD ASAP, not be put in a queue. I love Canada and have spent a lot of time there, just would never live there.

I never said Canada is perfect, we have basically a 2 party political system just like our friends to the south. Every now and then we vote in NDP (our 3rd party) to remember why we should never do that. For us, just like our American friends, our political system sucks and is in need of deep change. Yes our current prime minister is pretty much a failure, but in Canadian politics the leaders are more the face of the party with marginal power unlike the president of US who carries some might into their system. Trudeau I will say represents Canada well on the world stage, he is polished and schooled, he also represents the next generation which will change our system and views just like the baby boomers changed the system and views from their parents. But all Trudeau is really doing is travelling the world promising money we don't or never will have. In defence of Trump, he is trying to change that and keep American money in America, I will give him credit for that. To blame any violence as Mr Bradley does above on one side or another is ridiculous, but I do agree with him there needs to be a better political system in both countries. To answer the comments from vegas365, there is no queue jumping in our healthcare system and there is no private healthcare system in Canada. Yes our taxes are hi, but a lot of it goes to pay for our free healthcare system. There is a somewhat private health care system if you are a professional athlete in Canada, I spent 14 years playing professional sports, so I have seen that side of the system, but mr average and mr rich have absolutely no access to that. Recently I needed knee surgery. I had 7 knee operations when I played sports, but having been retired now for 20 years, this was my first surgery since my playing days. I had to go through he healthcare system just like everybody else. It wasn't life threatening, and took 8 months before I found myself in surgery. Back in my playing days I would be in surgery in about a week's time. So I can confirm there is no private system here in Canada as many people who do not live in Canada claim. I will say having worked on both sides of the border for many years and understanding both political systems more than most, I don't think one is better than the other. But when you have someone who carries as much power as the president of the US, it better be someone who knows what they are doing, not some bozo who thinks they can run the country like they have in place now. Trump simply has no idea what he is doing or how to get there. It's scary to watch
yeah Canada is such a "great" country that accepts anyone ?, yet someone with a DUI cannot enter the country , simply because their vetting processes are much better and much thorough then they are in the USA , that 90 day ban was put in place so they can figure out on HOW to vet people better to gain access into the USA , then again if you would actually do some research rather then blindly believing the media , you would already know this
