you missed my whole point , and turned it into "trump making a new healthcare bill that lowers rates" i didn't even mention lowering of my rate , i simply stated if i wasn't paying that much of my income on healthcare i could have spend it on things that would have actually HELPED the economy.

Healthcare reform was/is badly needed, if the republicans didn't agree they'd scrap the whole thing and go back to pre-obamacare days. So while yes Obama may have instigated it even the republicans agree it was needed. We'll see how much they agree or disagree if they every get a new plan passed.
If your rates don't go down you can blame Trump just as much as Obama because he had the option of scrapping the whole thing.

We in the U.K have "free" heath care. We pay National Insurance from our wages to help pay for this. Unfortunately costs are rising all the time and it is believed the National Health Service is suffering as a result. Anybody who attends a doctor or hospital is entitled to this care but the service is being abused by the public going to A&E for the most trivial of matters. I recently dislocated my shoulder and as a result was hospitalized for a week. The care and after care I received was excellent and of course I did not have the worry of Bills piling up.This did help in a speedy recovery. The newspapers frequently tell of foreigners flying in to use our medical services and complain because insufficient effort is made to make them pay for their treatment.Having heard of the frightening costs of treatment and medicine in the USA it makes me glad I am a British citizen

The problem with America today is they keep rejecting change and citing their constitution for the reason. The problem is the whole world changed 20 years ago, with the exception of USA. Any factory jobs all went to India, china etc who pay their workers $5 a day. As much as trump thinks he can bring it back, everything will be too expensive to buy if made in America paying American wages. The last USA president (Obama) was trying to guide US into this new world, but you guys keep dragging your feet. The longer you wait, the worse off your gonna be. Change hurts financially sometimes and is the unknown. Here in Canada in the late 80's and early 90's when we changed we were in a recession for 6-7 years, it was tough on many people. We are passed it now and back to prosperity. Unfortunately our friends to the south can't accept change and the world is passing them by. After military I can't think of very much US leads the world in anymore.. its very unfortunately. Now this nutcase Trump wants to return you to the 70's.. time to wake up people, look past your borders, realize you are no longer # 1 and find change before you completely melt down. Its a slippery slope and you guys are barely hanging on.

Welcome to Canada, we are about as diversified as any country in the world. We accept any nationality here, as long as those people are willing to work and pay their fair share. Yes we have free health care, free education up to college, and we have every religion you can think of here. We all live in relative peace and harmony. But that comes at a steep price. Our taxes are very high, to pay for all that and help those unsuccessful people. To get back to Trump wanting to bring back the factories, or mine for coal, that's just stupid. Only china uses coal anymore, so who would you sell it to, and how could a factory turn a profit when they have to pay a worker in US for one day's work the same amount they would pay a worker in china for a month. Factories are done, will never return. Also for Trump to ban people basically due to religion is ridiculous. How many non American Muslims killed Americans on American soil last year. Basically none, but there were a few incidents where I feel people used it as an excuse to get back at the society that held them away. On the other hand, there were probably 100 different episodes where Americans killed Americans in mass murders. Don't see trump banning Americans from entering US, but it would certainly cut down on mass murders, carnage and make everyone safer which he claims is his goal with the travel ban. The problem here is Trump is an old school 1960's racist . He hated the fact a non white person ran the country, and he hates non white people entering the country, his world is dominantly white and he fells it should stay that way period. You can see his only real agenda is to reverse anything Obama did, whether is was good or bad simply because he a racist, plain and simple. I hope my friends to the south get through the next 3yrs and 6 months without this guy completely destroying the country. Like I said before, he is am embarrassment not only to his country but the modern world. He is almost certifiable.
