I'm a Manc and think I have a bit of a accent but even just a few miles away they sound different to me for instance in a little sheep sha@@ing village called Oldham they tend tend to over emphisise thier words like "nooo" or "boooos" <-that's bus to me and you, and in the other direction towards the 'Scouser's you've got the scally's from Salford who are all "Eee ar ar kid hoos it goin" for a Manc accent or close try listening to Peter Kay or a bit of Corrie St I think scouse girls sound absouloutly awesome most of my mates tho' can't stand it

Have you ever seen Mika Häkkinen being interviwed on TV? That's what my English sounds like. Well, almost.
