Discussion i had with a friend

Okay i was showing this site to a buddy of mine who is gay... he said it's okay, but there are no nude guys on here. I laughed and said duh pointed to the top of the page where is says entertainment for men, thinking i had him backed into a corner on the topic, he turns to me and said "but i am a man" (he's not the man in his relationship.). Okay major oversight on my part, but he wants to know why this issue hasn't been fixed before now.
I told him it's a porn site for men who like women...
Anyway as this discussion continues about WBW being bigoted towards gay men, i finally told him fine make an account and up some pics and we will see where it goes...
Some days i know better than to get out of bed.

Yeah, I don't think a gay man will get all that much out of the site. And if he uploads pics, I'm 100% sure they'll be deleted. I'm sure, just by sheer volume, there are bound to be some bi guys here, just as there are bi and lesbian women. But lets face it, gay guys aren't exactly WBW's target audience. We certainly won't turn him away, but I think he'll find that he probably won't be welcomed with wide open arms....unfortunately.

Well while I'm bi myself, I sadly have to agree, there probably wont be an awful lot who welcomes him with open arms.
However, kudos to him if he tries to make an account and post something, who knows we might all be pleasantly surprised by people on here.

And while I'm bi myself, I don't find men look wise interesting, just fun on occasion, so wont be finding me in his threads.

Why would he want to come here and why is it sad or unfortunate that the majority of us wouldn't accept him? There are plenty of gay sites out there for him. This is a privately owned site that chooses to feature hot babes and cars ... not some feel good, diversity welcome wagon mumbo jumbo.

He's welcome here as far as I'm concerned.

"Entertainment for Men" refers to real men, not men who think like girls. WBW does not cater to homosexuals, so if he doesn't like the content, he's welcome to stay away.

Glad you cleared it up that only straight men would find this an entertaining site, and that only straight men are welcome.

I'm a straight guy who really has no interest in the cars part of this website - i've managed to pretty much avoid seeing gas guzzling mustang cock-mobile's since i first registered - i'm sure i could do the same with nude men if i set my mind to it - post away, and welcome to wbw if he does!

I guess I didn't clarify my point well enough. I meant, if he chooses to come here ... fine. If he is going to complain about not having a dude gallery... too bad ... he can go to a gay site. In the original post he wondered why there were no nude guys here, so I thought that's why you guys were saying it is unfortunate and sad that pics of nude dudes are not welcomed here.

I agree, there isn't going to be a nude guy gallery anytime soon or likely ever. What I was saying was unforunate, is that if he outs himself in posts and what not, he's likely not going to be accepted. As long as he follows the rules and guidelines of the site, I think he's more than welcome.

I don't profess to know what gays and lesbians are interested in; I do know what heterosexual men are interested in, because well, I'm not stupid.

And lets not try to make this about "being welcome", there isn't anything about that in the original post. The complaint was why there aren't any naked guy shown here, and when that will be "fixed". The fact is that WBW doesn't need to be "fixed" in that department.

b-dog, the "real men" and "not men who think like girls" parts of that comment were unnecessary, and are a bit inflammatory IMO.

A simple, "Wbw doesn't provide much content for homosexual men, but it's possible there may be things a bisexual guy might find interesting here" would have sufficed.


And gay dudes who like to check out cars or post silly pictures of cats and animated gifs and post in the lounge and whatnot are most certainly welcome.

There is no site that will ever be good for 100% of people. Estimates show only 10-20% of men/women are homosexual (usually 14% is what I have seen). I think any site that has something approx 80-90% of men and approx 45-55% of the total population are interested in is probably doing pretty good. (Straight/bisexual men make up about 40-45% of the population and homosexual/bisexual women about 5-10%)

No claim of a site being what everyone of a certain gender wants can really be perfect for that, but I would hazard to guess that this site is close.
