Yet another concise and useful answer.

Start with the obvious. Turn the computer off, and check to make sure your mouse connection has not come loose. Do you have another mouse? If checking the mouse connection does not help then swap them out to see if that fixes the problem as a mouse can go bad. I have been through several.

Otherwise like burn said it's kind of hard to fix this kind of problem without being there, or without a lot more info than you have given.

Try restarting the computer. It may be just a memory overload (doing too much at once or too fast). Does it happen often?

It could be a problem with one of the games you have installed. Just check to see if you have a games by name mar... and try reinstalling the same...

do a search for marscore.dll, then if you find it, do a copy, and paste it into your windows system32 file, problem solved. If it's not there, reinstall your mouse software

As always, searching google for marscore.dll could help here

A quick scan returned this.
Maybe it helps.

Start> Run> eventvwr.msc /s

Look at the System and Application event logs and see if any items have failed (red icon) or warning (yellow icon) in the Event Type column.
