You don't need the drama from your mama....but maybe you do. Why? You have been with her for 17 years and still don't trust her?? and can't really communicate with her? You want more of this? All I can tell you is basically from my experience, I was married for 4 years. And the sex started to drop off an we argued alot, and the same thing happened to me the sex changed a bit and she started wanting things in the bed we never really ever did. I took these signs and went with my gut that told me somthing was going on. Come to find out she was screwing someone on the side and she would come home and have sex with me when I started to suspect to shade it over and make me happy. All I can tell you is find proof and make sure when you confront her there is no way for her to talk her way out of it. Especailly if she always gets her way. Her mindset right now is she can get away with it because she controls you, the same with my wife when we were married.

You should just go in front of her, and say something like "I think we should take a break in our relationship". She is gonna tell it to you very soon.
Surprise her, do it first.
There's a chance that she will realize she misses you, as you show you have the control over the situation.
If you do nothing, or try to "repair" things, nothing is really gonna change... just getting worse.
Do something you wouldn't usually do, as what you usually do leaded you into this situation.

Trust is gone ans so is you relationship, not that you had any if you wouldn't sleep in your own bed for a week or so.
Either put it out of your mind and make do with it, or pack up and move on mate.
The phone is a sure give away, take a couple of days of from work without her knowing and keep an eye on her if you need to know, but I'd advise against it, you'll only hurt bad to see things with your own eyes, trust me on this one.

My advise to you is: Tell her how much you like her and that you totally adore her. Tell her that on every occassion and she will get back her selft esteem and you will get laid more often. Sounds like she's running around on you. She may be wanting you to call her on it and tell her how upset you are. If you don't call her on it, she might assume you know but don't care enough to make a big deal out of it. Stand up for yourself, put your foot down, and say you won't put up for any fooling around. If she wants to sleep with someone else, she'll have to live somewhere else.

Or just do what you feel is right. It's your marriage and kids and whatnot, so listen to your instinct before you listen to people on a forum.

As for the rest, i wish you were right, I just can't shake her of, shit.
Still though girls like a bad boy to love and a good boy to marry, now I'm 40 yo and have been married for 16 years, admittedly I've cheated a few times, and having traveled quite a bit I've really seen a lot of shit, this woman just needs to be put back in her place one way or the other, that's my honest opinion.
