You guys ever wonder what life will be like when those little kids just being born now are like, Notech's age?

Will they be facing a Malthusian collapse of natural resources, environmental degradation, wild climate swings, starvation, pestilence, Terminator-style robot wars, etc?

Or will they be living in an idyllic, End-of-History type of setting with abundant cheap energy, super-advanced medical treatments, human control of the environment, interstellar travel and infinite lives due to humans being "plugged-in" to the internet, Matrix style?

My eldest stepdaughter is almost 16, I've been her daddy for nearly nine years. She will def have one by the time she's 19.
