I just thought of something else. You know how they replaced every other word with "smurf," smurfing," or "smurfy?" Think about it...if that DID stand for the socialist thing...wouldn't that be the same as backmasking LP's? Repeat it over and over again and it will start to sink in. On a side note, I once played "Hotel California" backwards and I swear I heard the word "sacrifice" repeated several times at the end (or was it the beginning?)...then again, it could have just said "shmapul eyes."

...and there I was thinking that it was just a cartoon! Silly me.

Well, my roommate is convinced that in the background of the show there is on smurf, a slightly darker shade of blue, that does all the tasks that require menial labor. He refers to this guy as Slave Smurf. He will be one of the smurfs that doesn't have a speaking or action role but just does stuff with no recognition of his contribution. We would stay up until Smurfs came on at 5 am here, smoking, trying to catch a glimpse of Slave Smurf. I have never seen him, but my roommate is concinved that he is there.

Don't forget about about Drunkie Smurf. You never really saw him cuz he was always passed out on Papa Smurf's couch. But, boy, those smurfy antics! (beer)
