I have to agree about the Beatles. Yellow submarine is just a silly song, lyrically and musically.

I can't believe that some of the great stuff the Beatles have done gets judged by Yellow Submarine

anything by Beyonce, Shakira, Rihanna, and the like
Same for their male counterparts...
Just a bunch of screamers in my opinion.
Oh and anything with lyrics like "I got so much money" or "My bitches are hanging of me" etc etc.
Drivel spewed out and unfortuantely screwing our youth.

Later Rolling Stones
Later U2
Later Tori Amos
Later Elton John
Heavy metal/rock/punk outside of the classic periods (aka early Metallica, all Motorhead, all Ramones and their compadres)
99.9% of rap
99.9% of contemporary country music except for gals with serious twang
99.9% of what is considered popular today
Am I pathetic or what.

U2..... I have to agree! I just can't stand Bono and his sanctimonious shite. He moans about poverty and stuff, but thinks nothing when he flew his lucky hat over at considerable cost.
As for the music, I can bear a bit of the new stuff, beautiful day, vertigo, sweetest thing. But the old stuff is just tripe!
Tori Amos? Is she still alive? The depressive, slit-your-wrists, moany diva?
