Anybody read Playboy?

I'm just starting this thread cause I'm really excited for a friend of mine. She's an ex girlfriend but we're still as close as we could possibly be. She's supposed to be in this months issue of Playboy. I haven't picked up the issue yet and she doesn't have a full pictorial just one picture in the grapevine section. I haven't looked at a Playboy since I was like 15 so I don't know even know what the grapevine section is. She's really excited. I'm really excited for her. She's been modeling for 6 years or so and one of the editors just happened across her picture on a modeling website and bought it to use in the magazine.

If anybody reads Playboy or has a copy on hand please go to the grapevine section and tell me if there's a pic of a girl covered in goldfish crackers. I've seen the pic of her I just haven't seen it in the mag. I just need some official confirmation before I go buy this thing. It would be a picture very similar to this one as it's from the same photoshoot.

Thanks hdmc for the confirmation. And yes she's Korean. Well technically, her dad's white but her mom's full blooded Korean.

edit: yep I just downloaded a PDF of the full mag. She's in there page 125 just like you said. I'll still buy a hard copy later though.

I don't read Playboy...and I never have.

Also, if that pic in the original posting is of a model who was in a Playboy, doesn't that make that picture of a Playboy model?

AHA! Trying to pull some rules out on me huh? Well I was prepared for someone to make that arguement, nay I was awaiting someone to make that argument.

She's not a Playboy model nor is the pic a Playboy pic hence it being posted here should be fine. The picture was not taken by a photographer associated with Playboy. The copyright is owned by a private photographer and Playboy simply leased the picture for use in their magazine. They don't own the pic nor the model. I was going to post a pic of the entire page from the magazine since I have it now but that would fall under Playboy ownership and violate the rules.

Also it is in fact hotlinked rather then uploaded so the fact that a private photographer owns the copyright to it shouldn't be a problem either. I thought this one through before posting and I'm pretty sure I'm legally shiny and clean here

About her posting. Well I could try but then I'd lose my anonymity here that I so cherish (see other thread about username changing)

Awesome, I've known a bunch of people who've worked as photo assistants, an archivist, and a copy editor, but I've never known a chick who's been in the mag!
I've known a few who should have!

that would probably pass as alright... but then you get fucked by that whole no nudity in the lounge rule....

congrats on your friend (ex bumping uglies partner, etc) making it into playboy, thats pretty fucking awesome.
