If you live in Minesota it's probably a Wharf rat, those things can get as big as a small dog lol. And they move into the walls in the winter. Better get rid of it fast because they multiply like gremlins.

Best thing to do is find the hole where it got in, it can be very small hole, and stick an S.O.S pad in there because they cant eat through the steal wool. If you have a way to get into the wall, stick a little dish of water in there and mix it with some antifreeze, they cant smell antifreeze..

If whatever it is doesnt get water soon it will start eating the pipes.

I missed the first part of the thread. Did someone already mention throwing a bug bomb in the attic?

yes they do, I used to live on a dairy farm, and every month I had to "clear out" the grain room. My weapon of choice? A hockey stick and my boots. Still gives me creeps to this day

your best advise since your in an apartment, is to call the landlord, if it was my house i'd simply bust out my shotgun and fire away, or try and poison the little fucker, and save the walls any wyas good luck on the infestation of your walls
